Terms of Service

These terms cover using the InviteWith app and website — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

1.Agreement to these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and InviteWith. By creating an account or using the app or website, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2.Who can use InviteWith

You must be at least 13 years old to use InviteWith, and old enough to agree to these terms in your country. If you use InviteWith on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

3.Your account

Keep your login details to yourself and let us know promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under it.

The information you give us when signing up should be accurate and kept up to date.

4.Hosting events and inviting guests

When you invite people, you are asking us to send them messages on your behalf. You confirm that:

  • you have a proper reason to contact the people you invite, and their details were obtained fairly;
  • you will not use InviteWith to send unsolicited bulk messages or marketing;
  • you will only ask guests for information you actually need, and will handle their replies responsibly;
  • you will honour requests from your guests to be removed from your guest list.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to use InviteWith to:

  • break the law, or promote or organise anything illegal or dangerous;
  • harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone, or invade their privacy;
  • upload content that is obscene, hateful, or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • send spam, chain messages or unsolicited advertising;
  • attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the service, or access data you are not entitled to;
  • scrape, resell or systematically extract data from the service.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. Reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours, and we may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6.Your content

Anything you upload — event details, photos, text — remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it.

You give us a limited licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content strictly so that we can operate the service for you: for example, showing your event’s cover photo on the invitation page you asked us to send. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, other than for backup copies that age out on our normal retention schedule.

You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.

7.Reporting problems

If you see content or behaviour that breaches these terms, use the report option in the app, or email support@invitewith.co.uk. You can also block another user from within the app.

We review reports within 24 hours and take action where appropriate, which may include removing content and removing the user responsible.

8.Availability and changes

We work to keep InviteWith available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to suspend it for maintenance or updates.

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we make a change that materially reduces the service, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

InviteWith has a free plan and several paid plans. The free plan needs no payment method, and guests are unlimited on every plan. What the paid plans add is room: more events a month, more email invitations, every invitation design, and extras such as guest analytics and exporting your guest list.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings; you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought through, under their policies.

Businesses that want InviteWith for their company can email us at info@invitewith.co.uk. Business plans are agreed with us directly, and their terms are set out in that agreement.

9.Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel it using the link we email you.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

10.Disclaimers and liability

InviteWith helps you organise events; it does not run them. We are not responsible for what happens at an event, for the accuracy of details a host provides, or for the conduct of hosts or guests.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.

If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights you have under the law of your country, and nothing here affects them.

11.App stores

If you downloaded InviteWith from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store’s terms. This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple or Google, and they are not responsible for the app or for any support of it.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
